• North Alabama projects included in $7.6 million round of Rebuild Alabama grants (256today.com) — Cedar Bluff is getting $350,000 in state transportation funds to resurface and improve drainage on Sewell Ferry Road and Hidden Cove Circle, with the town adding $100,000. The grant is part of Governor Kay Ivey’s latest Rebuild Alabama package, which supports 26 local road projects across the state and requires work to begin within a year.
   

• Cherokee County Board of Education Reviews Audit, Approves Personnel Actions and Budget Items (weisradio.com) — Cedar Bluff School will see a dedicated 2026–2027 energy savings budget and a new assistant principal, Shane Browder, following Monday’s Cherokee County Board of Education meeting. The board also handled retirements, resignations, travel, and new positions across the county, shaping staffing and resources for local students in the coming school year.
   

• Cedar Bluff Mayor, Bill Warren, Gives Town Council 6 Month Update (weisradio.com) — Cedar Bluff’s mayor is touting six months of changes, including nine annexations, seven new or incoming businesses, and multiple grants for roads, Liberty Day, utilities, and public safety. The town has added officers, updated ordinances, launched a website and Facebook page, and reports higher revenues while staying under budget.
