(shelbycountyreporter.com) — Chelsea High's cross-country team turned in a solid showing at the Shelby County Championships, with Jonathan Gordon leading the Hornets in 17th place and several teammates posting competitive times. The meet, held at the University of Montevallo as part of the Thompson XC Classic, also saw strong performances from Oak Mountain, Westminster OM, Thompson, and other county schools.
