Enterprise Pet Banner Program Returning for 2027 (wiregrassdailynews.com) — Enterprise residents can once again feature their pets on colorful downtown light-pole banners in 2027, while helping fund beautification projects. Main Street Enterprise’s “FUR’iends” program offers new and renewing banner options, welcomes all kinds of pets, and directs proceeds to improvements like decorative flag replacements. Registration runs through the City of Enterprise’s RecDesk portal.
   

2. Enterprise Tasting Party to Benefit SOS Shelter (wiregrassdailynews.com) — Downtown Enterprise will host a community tasting party on Saturday, June 27, at The Olive Fruit and The Nook to raise funds for the SOS Animal Shelter. Expect olive oil tastings, live music from Lil’ Jimmy Reed, food trucks, dog treats, and plenty of chances to donate while enjoying Main Street.
   

3. All 4 Wiregrass community colleges cleared of bomb threats (wdhn.com) — Enterprise State Community College in Enterprise was evacuated Wednesday after a bomb threat, but authorities have since cleared all four affected Wiregrass community college campuses. ESCC and Lurleen B. Wallace campuses are reopening with classes resuming soon, while Wallace Community College in Dothan remains closed until Thursday as police complete their sweeps.
   

4. Boll Weevil trio become first members of ESCC's flag football team (wdhn.com) — Enterprise sports fans will see a new era at Enterprise State as three athletes signed scholarships to become the first members of the Boll Weevils flag football team. Two are current ESCC standouts and one is an incoming freshman from Enterprise, with workouts starting this month and the inaugural schedule still being finalized.
