- The Montgomery Police Department has opened a death investigation after a shooting involving a woman Monday morning. The police department initially reported the victim was a juvenile female but has since clarified she is an adult. Details remain limited, but police and fire medics responded to the 3700 block of Seaton Boulevard, near the Sturbridge Apartments, around 8:20 a.m. on reports of a person having been shot. (WSFA)
- A Tallassee woman who disappeared after being discharged from a Montgomery hospital is still missing. Montgomery police and the woman's family are hoping the public can provide any information on the whereabouts of Crystal Collins. Collins, who had been admitted to Baptist South Medical Center on Nov. 14, was discharged that Friday and has not been seen since. (WSFA)
- The state of Alabama is threatening to sue Montgomery over a street name that was changed to bear Civil Rights attorney Fred Gray's name. The state wants its capital city to keep Jefferson Davis' name on the sign. (The Root)
