• Former Alabama prison guard charged with failing to act as inmate allegedly stabbed another to death (al.com) — A man from Montgomery already serving life for a 2018 Lucas Drive killing now faces new capital murder charges in a 2025 prison stabbing at William Donaldson Correctional Facility. Prosecutors say he fatally stabbed another inmate, while a former guard is accused of failing to get medical help, with both men awaiting arraignment in Jefferson County.
