🌱 Street Names Being Reconsidered + Fatal Car Wreck

First, today's weather:
Rain and a t-storm; cooler. High: 61 Low: 57.
Here are the top three stories in Montgomery today:
- A Montgomery woman has been killed in a car wreck Monday afternoon. The incident occurred in the 500 block of Hunter Loop Road and involved two vehicles. The Montgomery Police Department is conducting an investigation into the crash to determine what caused the incident. (WSFA12 News)
- The Montgomery Fire Department rescued ten people from the Montgomery Zoo skylift. The individuals were suspended in the air when the skylift malfunctioned. Officials with the zoo report that nobody was injured during the incident. The skylift abruptly shut down in 2013 as well. (WSFA12 News)
- The City of Montgomery is considering renaming city streets named after confederates and Klansmen. An anonymous source has agreed to pay the fines required under the Alabama Memorial Preservation Act of 2017 for renaming streets.
