• Georgia man killed in Russell County crash (nowgeorgia.com) — State troopers are investigating a deadly single‑vehicle crash in rural Russell County, about 25 miles south of Phenix City, that killed a 36‑year‑old Georgia man Monday afternoon. Investigators say his Corvette left Cottonton Road, hit a ditch, overturned, and he was ejected while not wearing a seat belt before being pronounced dead at the scene.
