Other utilities across Alabama also reported thousands of outages after severe weather damaged transmission and distribution lines. Brundidge man dies in Pike County crash (wsfa.com) — A Brundidge man died Monday evening after his pickup left Alabama 125, overturned, and he was later pronounced dead at Troy Regional Medical Center. State troopers say he was not wearing a seat belt and was ejected from the vehicle. The Highway Patrol Division is still investigating what caused the single-vehicle crash in Pike County.
