Both were processed at Troy City Jail and remain in Pike County Jail on high bonds as officers emphasize their ongoing focus on keeping dangerous drugs off local streets.

Multiple power outages affecting thousands across Alabama (wsfa.com) — Storm damage left hundreds of South Alabama Electric Cooperative customers without power around the Troy area Monday night, with crews pausing only briefly before resuming restoration early Tuesday. Other utilities across Alabama also reported thousands of outages after severe weather damaged transmission and distribution lines. Backed by a partnership between the City of Troy, Pike County Schools, and Troy City Schools, the project will transform the historic Academy Street High School into a leading center for hands-on, career-focused learning.
   

4. Brundidge man dies in Pike County crash (wsfa.com) — A Brundidge man died Monday evening after his pickup left Alabama 125, overturned, and he was later pronounced dead at Troy Regional Medical Center. State troopers say he was not wearing a seat belt and was ejected from the vehicle. The Highway Patrol Division is still investigating what caused the single-vehicle crash in Pike County.
   

5. Troy Police Reports, Wednesday, June 3, 2026 (troymessenger.com) — Troy police reports list a series of late-May arrests, including drug possession, DUI, shoplifting, criminal trespass, and multiple alias or capias warrants. While most charges involve adults, there are also entries for a minor DUI and a child in need of supervision, giving residents a snapshot of recent local law enforcement activity.
