Middle School Student Threatens To Make 'Hit List'

A former Hewitt-Trussville MIddle School student has allegedly threatened to create a "hit list" and is under investigation.

TRUSSVILLE, AL - A former student at Hewitt-Trussville Middle School is under investigation after allegedly threatening on social media to make a "hit list" of students at the school. The student reportedly no longer attends HTMS.

A report by the Trussville Tribune said student has been identified by authorities and is not attending HTMS at this time, according to the message sent to faculty and parents by Principal Dr. Lisa Berry. Berry said in the message that there is not a hit list posted on social media, but there is a threat to create a hit list.
