• More details emerge on the Cahaba Valley Innovation Center (trussvilletribune.com) — Trussville just secured a $12 million grant to launch the Cahaba Valley Innovation Center, a major new career and technical education hub serving Hewitt-Trussville and nearby high schools. Superintendent Patrick Martin says the project could cost up to $25 million, attract new industry to Trussville, and help local graduates earn strong wages without a four-year degree, though the exact site and timeline are still being worked out.
