National Signing Day Includes Several Local Gridiron Stars
Football players from Hewitt-Trussville, Pinson Valley and Clay-Chalkville were part of National Signing Day this week.
TRUSSVILLE, AL - College football's National Signing Day Wednesday included some familiar names in the Trussville area. Alabama, Auburn, North Alabama and other schools received formal commitments from several local players.
A report by the Trussville Tribune said Hewitt-Trussville High School had five players commit to schools Wednesday:
- QB Paul Tyson - Alabama
- OL Pierce Quick - Alabama
- WR Ja’Varrius Johnson - Auburn
- DE Tyler Antkowiak - North Alabama
- DB Creed Parker - North Alabama
