New Private School Opening In Leeds
The Grove School is set to open in Leeds in time for this coming school year.
LEEDS, AL — Students in Alabama are seeing the summer start to wind down, as most school systems will begin the 2019-20 school year in the first two weeks of August. And one school in Leeds will open its doors for the first time this fall.
The Grove School, a Christian school for K-8 grade students, is set to welcome its first group of students this fall, with 14 students already enrolled. It is located at 7545 Parkway Drive in a 6,500-square-foot space.
A report by the Birmingham Business Journal said the capacity for the school is 60 students. Tuition for the elementary and middle school is $6,500 per year, not including an application fee and supply fee. The school has two full-time staff, with a third working part-time.
