Pierce Heinzman Wins Cahaba Elementary Spelling Bee

After winning a 75-minute competition, Pierce Heinzman will compete for the District Title in January.

TRUSSVILLE, AL - Cahaba Elementary School's first spelling bee saw some top-notch students competing for the title, and fifth grad student Pierce Heinzman emerged as the winner after a 75-minute competition.

Each fifth grade class held the first round of competition in their classrooms, and two students from each class moved on to the school bee.

Competitors were: Mylee Stults, Maci Herring, Heinzman, Hannah Claire Miller, Braden Smith, Charlie Crowson, Faith Lovetto, and Taylor Waldo.
