JEFFERSON COUNTY, AL — A convicted felon has been charged with capital murder in the death of 2-year-old Kaiden Ford. The child was found dead Wednesday night in east Jefferson County, and deputies arrested 31 year old Sylvester Corderyl Taylor Thursday.
Deputy Chief David Agee of the Jefferson County Sheriff's Office said deputies and paramedics responded to the 1100 block of Florentine Circle just after 7 p.m. Wednesday on a report of a two year old child not breathing.
