Trussville Council Appoints New School Board Member

The Trussville City Council appointed a replacement for Sid McNeal on the Trussville School Board.

TRUSSVILLE, AL - The Trussville City Council appointed a new member to the Trussville City Schools board Tuesday, filling the seat previously held by Sid McNeal.

According to the Trussville Tribune, the Council also approved the appointment of Trussville resident, Mark Sims, who will serve a five-year term.

Sims is a 30-year veteran of Stryker Medical, having spent 22 years with Stryker as a sales representative and the last six as a regional manager. Sims and his wife, Jill, have three children, one of which attends Hewitt-Trussville Middle School.
