In addition to the 33-yard game-winning field goal, the senior kicker added another field goal from 52 yards away to match his career-longest. In all, he tallied eight points on the day.
"To have a kicker like we have ... it gives us so much confidence," Alabama quarterback Bryce Young said of Reichard. "When we were there charting out the field goal, the team had all the confidence in the world, already knew he was going to hit it. When you have that feeling, knowing, especially in that range and even deeper. Automatic: That's what Will is for us."

Following the game, head coach Nick Saban also had high praise for Reichard's consistency.
"I've never been around a guy that had a perfect season," Saban said. He actually had a perfect season as a kicker. Never missed an extra point, never missed a field goal. He had a game winner today. I don't know if that's his first, but I had total confidence in him. That and he just did a great job on kickoffs ... [He's] one of the most consistent performers on our team."
