The Walker County Sheriff's Office shared a brief, but heartwarming story over the weekend about a lost military ring found by an investigator, who was able to track down its owner. Here's a photo of WCSO Investigator Mike Cole and 86-year-old John Echols when the ring was returned.

  2. The City of Tuscaloosa will close a stretch of Frank Thomas Avenue Monday morning, which will allow a contractor to install utilities for a nearby student housing development. (More on Patch)
