"She loved her grandbabies more than life itself and she let anyone she could know that any chance she got," Pearson wrote on the GoFundMe page. "There will be a big void in our lives as we go on without her. But, we hold tight to the fact that we will see her again one day and today she is feeling a love she's never known before in Our Father's arms."
Pearson explained that while she typically would not ask for donations, her mother didn't have any end-of-life plans or life insurance.

"Mama had been sick a long time but her diagnosis and death were both so sudden," Pearson said. "Mama's wishes were to be buried instead of cremation and I would like to try to honor that if humanly possible for me to do so."
As of the publication of this story, the GoFundMe had raised $2,545 from 34 donors, toward the overall goal of $7,000.
