Uniontown Man Killed In Hale County Crash Friday Morning

TUSCALOOSA, AL — The Alabama Law Enforcement Agency (ALEA) is investigating a single-vehicle crash Friday that killed a Uniontown man.

ALEA says the crash occurred at approximately 1:56 a.m. Friday, when a 2008 Honda Accord LXdriven by Keyshawn L. Patterson, 20, left the roadway and struck a wood fence multiple times.

Patterson was reportedly not using a seat belt at the time of the crash and was pronounced dead at the scene on Alabama Highway 69 roughly five miles north of Gallion in Hale County.
The cause of the case remains under investigation.
