5 Alarm Fire In Oakland's Chinatown Under Control
The Oakland Fire Department reports, "Expect delays to and from Alameda." No injuries have been reported.

OAKLAND, CA — Oakland firefighters have declared a 5 alarm fire at a commercial and residential building in Chinatown "under control" almost two hours after receiving the first alarm. No injuries have been reported.
The fire at Seventh and Webster streets.
The fire started in a dumpster and spread to the building, according to interim Fire Chief Melinda Drayton.

About 70 firefighters are on the fire line, and several streets in the area are closed because of fire trucks.
The fire department tweeted, "Delays are expected to and from Alameda."

The fire was reported at 8:20 a.m. Wednesday.
