ALAMEDA, CA — A 29-year-old Oakland man was arrested last week in connection with gun shots reportedly fired October 2021 along Santa Clara Avenue, according to the Alameda Police Department.

At the time, officers reported multiple, expended shell casings in the road, purportedly after several shots were fired into the air following an altercation, the agency said. No injuries were reported.

Last week, after an investigation with the Oakland Police Department, the suspect was identified and taken into custody without incident. Execution of a search warrant also turned up evidence connecting the person to the crime, the agency said.
