ALAMEDA, CA — On Monday Patch shared a photo of a baby dove on Ballena Isle. Steve Gorman quickly responded with a photo of his own, "We have doves nesting on a pergola above our deck, and within the last week their eggs hatched and the chicks are now vigorously feeding from their parents. Here is a shot I took of the chicks getting food from one of their parent's mouths. This is in Alameda."
