See CHP Pursue Wayward Chihuahua on San Francisco's Bay Bridge
Someone tell this poor dog about BART!

SAN FRANCISCO, CA: A Chihuahua on the lam gave Bay Area California Highway Patrol officers a run for their money early Sunday morning. According to a tweet from the CHP San Francisco division, the little black dog was found running in the eastbound lanes of the Bay Bridge around 6:56 a.m.
After a short pursuit, which was caught on tape by one of the CHP dashboard cameras, officers were able to safely rescue the dog.

In 2014, CHP officers rescued another escaped Chihuahua after it was discovered on the center divide of the I-680 in Walnut Creek. That pooch was eventually reunited with its owners.
CHP officials say the Chihuahua has been taken to the San Francisco County Animal Care facility. Officers are currently looking for the dog's owner. Call 415-554-6364 if the dog is yours.
