ALAMEDA, CA – A fire is burning this morning at a homeless encampment near westbound Interstate Highway 980 at Jackson Street in Oakland, according to California Highway Patrol officials.
The fire was reported at 4:32 a.m. and CHP officials said that trees were fully engulfed in fire.
