Hungry Egret Babies: Photos Of The Day
Feeding time is a noisy, aggressive event with each chick vying for its share.
ALAMEDA, CA — Eddy Lehrer snapped some captivating photos of feeding time at an egret's nest on Bay Farm Island.
According to Eddy, "It was feeding time and the young egrets are very noisy and aggressive."
Judging by their size and feathers, these young egrets will be fending for themselves in no time.
