Police Ask Public's Help to Identify Alleged Bank Robber

Police are asking for the public’s help to identify a suspect who allegedly robbed an Oakland bank Tuesday morning. Around 10:45 a.m., the male suspect entered a Citibank, located at 1325 Broadway, according to police. The suspect approached a teller and demanded money.

Once the teller complied, the suspect fled on foot with an undisclosed amount of cash, police said. The suspect is described as a white man, between 30 and 35 years old, 6 feet tall, weighing 170 pounds, with facial hair. The suspect wore a hat, sunglasses, a black hooded sweater with white writing on front, blue jeans, and white shoes. He was also carrying a black and red backpack, police said.
