Police Temporarily Close Otis After Alameda Woman Hit by Car
The woman was hit while crossing Otis Drive according to Alameda Police Department. She is recovering at Highland Hospital.
Police temporarily closed Otis Drive down Friday evening after an elderly Alameda woman was hit by a car while crossing the street.
Alameda Police Department received a call at 7:52 p.m. that the 84-year-old woman was hit, according to Lt. Joe McNiff. An ambulance took her to Highland Hospital in Oakland, he said.
The westbound road on Otis Drive was closed from High Street bridge to Broadway till about 8:30 p.m., according to McNiff.
