Turkey Chicks Explore Central Avenue: Photo Of The Day
Mama was keeping a watchful eye on the chicks from behind the brick wall!

ALAMEDA, CA — Bald eagles, herons, egrets, and small shorebirds have all been spotted in Alameda this year. Add wild turkey chicks to the list. Jeff Cambra snapped this photo on Central Avenue. He notes that the mama was close-by — just behind the brick wall.
