ISIS Calls San Bernardino Shooters 'Supporters'
The terror group made the declaration on its official radio station on Saturday.
The Islamic State has released a statement saying the mass shooting in San Bernardino that left 14 dead was carried out by two of its “supporters”.
ISIS made the claims in a broadcast Saturday on their official radio station. The Associated Press notes the broadcast did not refer to the suspected shooters, Syed Farook, 28, and Tashfeen Malik, 27, as actual members of the group.
“Two followers of Islamic State attacked several days ago a centre in San Bernadino in California,” the group’s daily broadcast al-Bayan said, Al Arabiya, a news organization based in the Middle East reports.
