San Diego County Sheriff's Department: Shooting Investigation - Lemon Grove

The gunshot wound did not appear to be life-threatening and the victim is currently listed in stable condition.

On November 8, 2021, at 10:15 AM, deputies from the Lemon Grove Substation and Rancho San Diego Station responded to a radio call of a shooting that occurred near the intersection of Blossom Lane and Washington Street, city of Lemon Grove.

When deputies arrived, they found an unoccupied truck had struck a curb and caused a tire to go flat. There appeared to be multiple bullet holes in the side truck. A 29-year-old male victim later arrived at a local hospital suffering from a gunshot wound to his leg.

The gunshot wound did not appear to be life-threatening and the victim is currently listed in stable condition.

Rancho San Diego Detectives are currently on scene and the investigation is ongoing.
