Pedestrian Suffers Minor Injuries in Collision with Mazda
The pedestrian was taken to Eden Medical Center for treatment of neck pain and an abrasion to her elbow.

A female pedestrian suffered minor injuries today after a vehicle struck her in an intersection in Alameda County, California Highway Patrol officials said. The collision occurred at about 8:50 a.m. at the intersection of Castro Valley Boulevard and Wilbeam Avenue.
The vehicle’s driver, a 20-year-old woman, was driving a 2007 Mazda east on Castro Valley Boulevard when she struck a 33-year-old woman who was crossing the road from south to north, according to the CHP. The pedestrian was taken to Eden Medical Center for treatment of neck pain and an abrasion to her elbow. The cause of the collision is being investigated.
