Police are asking for help finding a 67-year-old schizophrenic man who has been missing a week and may be in Westwood.

Manhattan Beach police today sought public help to find a 67-year-old schizophrenic man who has been missing for nearly a week.
Bertram Northrop, a Gardena resident, was last seen about 1 p.m. Wednesday at the Katsu-Ya restaurant in Manhattan Beach, said Manhattan Beach police Sgt. Paul Ford.
Northrop is white, 5 feet 8 inches tall and 140 pounds, with gray hair, and is missing his bottom teeth. He was wearing a blue hooded sweatshirt and blue jeans.

He could be in Santa Monica, Westwood or Gardena, and anyone who sees him is asked to call Manhattan Beach police, (310) 545-4566, or their local police department.
