• Ygnacio Valley Library to close for major improvements (contracostaherald.com) — If you rely on the Ygnacio Valley Library, plan ahead: the Walnut Creek branch will close from September 9, 2026, through May 31, 2027, for major infrastructure upgrades. During that time, Concord's county library, along with Clayton, Walnut Creek and Pleasant Hill branches, will handle borrowing, returns, and relocated holds for local patrons.

All is well. The river otter found its way out of the canal. As previously mentioned, I couldn't get back to the trail until this evening. ~~~~~~~~~… (Nextdoor The Alameda) - We waited many years and finally had our driveway pavers put in which are absolutely beautiful.
