Jogger Shot And Wounded In Culver City; Suspect Sought
Police are looking for a suspect who shot a man jogging in Culver City.
CULVER CITY, CA — Authorities Thursday sought public help to find a masked suspect who shot a man who was jogging in Culver City.
The shooting occurred about 11:20 p.m. Wednesday near Washington Boulevard and Hargis Street, according to the Culver City Police Department.
The victim, a Culver City man whose name and age were withheld, was hospitalized in stable condition, police said.

"The victim was approached by a suspect who was armed with a handgun," according to police. "The suspect demanded the victim's property, and at some point fired one round, striking the victim."
The gunman was described as a 20- to 30-year-old man wore a black hoodie and a mask.

Anyone with information on the case was urged to call 310-253-6202.
The jogger is still in the ICU in stable condition as of Thursday afternoon, Culver City Police Officer Marissa Yabko told Patch. As of now we do not have surveillance or images of the suspect to provide.
