Togo’s Sycamore Square Open Under New Ownership

Find out more about other interesting businesses open in Tri-Valley, including CREAM, Prime Poke and Lucille's Smokehouse Bar-B-Que.

DANVILLE, CA — The Togo’s in the Town and Country Shopping Center has re-opened under new ownership on Aug. 26. The popular sandwich franchise is owned by John Sathri, who owns multiple Togo’s locations.

“We’re excited to bring the best sandwiches ever to our neighbors here in Danville and we look forward to building a loyal customer base for years to come,” said John Sathri, owner of Togo’s Danville, said in a statement. “We couldn’t be more excited to open our doors and be a part of this great, close-knit community.”

The sandwich shop is open Monday through Friday from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m., and from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. on Saturday and Sunday. Guests can also order online and by phone.

"Town and Country Shopping Center, which is right across from the Livery, is a great location for Togo's and we’re thrilled to re-open this restaurant," said Glenn Lunde, President of Togo’s said in a statement. "We're excited to come back into this community and serve up big, fresh and meaty sandwiches made with a smile."

Togo’s is located at 625 San Ramon Valley Blvd. in Danville.

Elsewhere in Tri-Valley, a new 99 Cents Only Store opened in Livermore on August 17.

A few miles away, hundreds lined up for free ice cream sandwiches at the grand opening of the CREAM Ice Cream store in Livermore.

The Woods Family Vineyards recently opened a new tasting room. The tasting room, which will be on the property with their Livermore warehouse, will be open Friday, Saturday and Sunday between noon and 5 p.m.

In nearby Dublin, a new restaurant and gastropub opened this month. Owned by Tri-Valley residents John and Jenny Samples, Inc 82 Brewing’s branding concept was inspired by the year Dublin was incorporated- 1982. The eatery features local microbrews and its own label.
A few miles away, Lucille’s Smokehouse Bar-B-Que will be moving into the building previously occupied by the Elephant Bar. The building has been empty since the Elephant Bar closed in 2016.

In Pleasanton, the Arby’s fast-food restaurant on Owens Drive has closed and Starbucks has plans to move in, city officials said. The Starbucks application was submitted following Arby’s abrupt closure.
Prime Poke celebrated their grand opening on July 22 by offering customers buy one, get one free poke bowls.
