Dublin Woman Killed By Delivery Truck ID’d
Police said the woman was taken to Eden Medical Center in Castro Valley where she later succumbed to her injuries.
DUBLIN, CA — The Alameda County Coroner’s Office has identified a Dublin woman who died after she was struck by a FedEx delivery truck Wednesday as 70-year-old Woon Kan Judy Chiu Ma. Police said Chiu Ma was hit at about 12:15 p.m. as the driver was backing up on Hillbrook Place following a package delivery.
She was taken to Eden Medical Center in Castro Valley where she later succumbed to her injuries. The driver stopped and cooperated with the investigation, according to police. Neither drugs or alcohol were believed to be a factor in the collision.
