DUI Suspect Arrested After Head-On Crash On Old Redwood Hwy
A Santa Rosa woman suffered major injuries when hit by the Windsor driver, who allegedly crossed the double-yellow lines, CHP said.

WINDSOR, CA – A 47-year-old Windsor man was arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence after being involved in a head-on collision Saturday, California Highway Patrol officials said Monday.
The collision was reported at 6:30 a.m. Saturday on Old Redwood Highway just south of Shiloh Road near Windsor. George Valera was driving a 2005 Mitsubishi Spyder north when he allegedly crossed over double-yellow lines and collided head-on with a 61-year-old Santa Rosa woman.
The woman was transported to a hospital with major injuries.

Valera was also transported to a hospital and was arrested on suspicion of DUI and possession of a controlled substance. He was booked into Sonoma County Jail.
