Ranch Fire Reaches 2,000 Acres In Tehama County

TEHAMA COUNTY, CA — The Ranch Fire has grown to an estimated 2,000 acres Tuesday, with firefighters reaching 15 percent containment on the blaze burning in western Tehama County, south of Redding.

The fire was 15 percent contained as of Cal Fire's most recent update Tuesday morning.

It broke out shortly after noon on Sunday, near the intersection of Raglin Ridge Road and Colyer Springs Road. One injury has been reported, according to Cal Fire.
