Bill Cosby's Star Vandalized Yet Again
Disgraced comedian and convicted rapist Bill Cosby's star is as popular a target for Walk of Fame vandals as President Trump's.

HOLLYWOOD, CA — Bill Cosby, the icon turned convicted rapist, is the latest celebrity to see his Hollywood Walk of Fame vandalized overnight, police said.
An unknown vandal scrawled the words, "Serial Rapist," across his star. Police found the vandalism written in pen across the star at about 5:30 a.m. Tuesday. Officers took a report, and the graffitti has since been removed. It's not the first time the comedian's star has been vandalized. In fact, in this era of icon disillusionment, protest by vandalizing the Walk Of Fame has become an increasing problem in Hollywood.

No arrests were reported in Tuesday's vandalism, or when the same star was vandalized in 2014 and again over the summer.

The 81-year-old comedian was found guilty at an April retrial of drugging and sexually assaulting former Temple University staffer Andrea Constand in his Pennsylvania home in 2004. He is expected to be sentenced later this month. Dozens of women have accused him of sexual assault.
Unlike the anonymous attacks on Cosby's star, vandals have repeatedly and proudly gone after President Donald Trump's star awarded to him for starring the reality tv show "The Apprentice." One man was sentenced to probation for destroying Trump's star in 2016 and another awaits trial for smashing the star into pieces in July.

The Hollywood Chamber of Commerce has tried to discourage the protest vandalism aimed at the Walk Of Fame.
"The Hollywood Walk of Fame is an institution celebrating the positive contributions of the inductees," said president and CEO Leron Gubler in July. "When people are unhappy with one of our honorees, we would hope that they would project their anger in more positive ways than to vandalize a California State landmark. Our democracy is based on respect for the law. People can make a difference by voting and not destroying public property."
