Burglars Nab Soccer Star Daniel Sturridge's Instagram-Famous Pup
British soccer star Daniel Sturridge is begging for help getting his dog back from the burglars who broke into his Hollywood home overnight.

LOS ANGELES, CA — Thieves overnight broke into the Hollywood Hills home where English soccer player Daniel Sturridge is staying and stole his dog among other valuables.
The athlete took to social media Tuesday to plead for the return of his Pomeranian Lucci, an instagram celebrity in his own fluffy right. Sturridge' video on instagram shows a shattered glass door and a a clearly distraught Sturridge asking for help finding his beloved pup.
``Somebody stole my dog. I'll pay anything. I want him back," he said.

According to the Los Angeles Police Department, a call came in at about 1:30 a.m. regarding the burglary. The thieves made off with several valuables along with the dog, a tiny ball of fluff with thousands of followers on Instagram. No one was home when the burglary occurred.
Another video showed what appeared to be surveillance video of three people walking inside the home.

``Burglary happened in the last 2 hours apparently 3 men stole my dog and 4 bags," read a caption on one of Sturridge's post.
``I want my dog back, and I'll pay whatever. It don't matter, it don't matter the cost," Sturridge said in one of the videos, offering to pay $20,000 to $30,000.
Sturridge played most recently for Liverpool F.C. of the English Premier League.
His dog has its own Instagram account with the handle @luccidapoochie and has more than 3,000 followers.
Sturridge joins a long list of professional athletes and celebrities targeted in Los Angeles. At task forces created to combat the problem recently broke up multiple rings that used social media, concert schedules, tour dates, and team schedules to break into the homes of the rich and famous.
Celebrities including Alanis Morissette, Nicki Minaj, Emmy Rossum, Jaime Pressly, David Spade, Derek Fisher and Byron Scott have all been victimized by burglaries or attempted burglaries in the Hollywood or Beverly Hills area over the last couple of years.
