Demi Lovato's Hollywood Home Targeted By Prowler
Demi Lovato's misfortune with her new Hollywood Hills home continues with reports of a prowler peering in her bedroom window.

HOLLYWOOD, CA — Singer Demi Lovato's Hollywood Hills home was targeted by a determined prowler, who scaled a wall and balcony to peer into her bedroom window late Tuesday night, police said Wednesday.
The singer was not home when the trespassing occurred. A property caretaker at the home in the 8000 block of Laurel View Drive reported the incident to police, Los Angeles Police Officer Liliana Preciado said.
"The homeowner was not present," Preciado said.

"We're told the man had a ladder and made it on to the balcony of her home, and that's when the dogs began furiously barking," TMZ reported.
"The house manager sensed something was wrong, walked over to the balcony and saw the man peering through Demi's bedroom window," TMA reported. "The live-in house manager ran to the phone, called 911 and left. By the time cops arrived the bad guy was gone."
The actress bought the house in September 2016, and was in Boston promoting a new recording at the time of the incident, TMZ reported.
A string of burglaries have been reported in recent months targeting celebrities in the Hollywood and Beverly Hills area, including Alanis Morissette, Nicki Minaj, model and reality TV star Kendall Jenner, Emmy Rossum, Jaime Pressly, David Spade, Dodger's star Yasiel Puig and Lakers guard Nick Young and former guard Derek Fisher .
There was no indication that this latest incident was related to any of the earlier ones. In March an LAPD spokesman said the department is aware of the burglaries and is investigating them, but he stopped short of saying they are believed to be related.
