The City of Imperial Beach Housing Authority, Hitzke Development and members of the American Legion Post 820 will host a grand opening of the housing development, The Post.
The newest development will offer affordable housing for low-income families, seniors and veterans.
Guest speakers include Imperial Beach Mayor Jim Janney and California Assemblymember Toni Atkins.
The Post is a project five years in the making and the grand opening will from noon to 2 p.m. on Friday, June 21.
