Fire Erupts Inside Lake Forest Grandview Crest Triplex
A fire erupted in the attic of a Lake Forest triplex in the Grandview Crest neighborhood on Wednesday morning.
LAKE FOREST, CA — Orange County Fire Authority firefighters raced to the scene near El Toro Road nd Northcrest Drive where a triplex was in flames, Wednesday.
The fire, which broke out at approximately 10:30 a.m. was confined to the attic space of an upstairs unit on the 22000 block of Newbridge Drive inside the Grandview Crest town home development in Lake Forest, according to OCFA Capt. Larry Kurtz. By 11 a.m. firefighters were conducting mop-up work at the scene, with investigators on hand.
"No one was home at the time of the fire," he said. Arriving firefighters reached the roof with the aid of an extension ladder truck.

"The cause of the fire is under investigation, and no injuries were reported," he said.
