Orinda Police Announce Drug Take Back Day

It's a good time to go through your medicine cabinets to clean out expired and unused prescriptions.

ORINDA, CA — The Orinda Police Department will hold its annual Drug Take Back Day Saturday, April 30.

In a partnership with the DEA, the department's event allows residents to drop off unused or expired prescription drugs, tablets, capsules, patches and other other solid forms of medications.

Liquids (including intravenous solutions), syringes and other sharps, and illicit drugs will not be accepted, police said.
