Livermore Police Officer Ran Half Marathon to Honor Lives of Fallen Officers
The officer paid homage to the five Dallas officers tragically killed in the line of duty last July.

LIVERMORE, CA — A Livermore police officer, who was wearing full uniform and gear, was among many East Bay officers who ran the Dallas Marathon in Texas last Sunday.
“Officer Steve Shodeen ran the half marathon portion of the Dallas Marathon today to honor the officers killed there this summer,” police said via social media.
According to police, Shodeen finished the race in just over two hours. Shodeen was joined by officers from the Alameda County and Fresno County Sheriff's Offices, Fremont, San Leandro, and Concord Police Departments. Shodeen ran in honor of the five Dallas officers killed in the line of duty last July.
