1. Waymo Gets the Green Light for Tri-Valley Robotaxis. The Cars Aren't Here Yet. Open Governance (opgov.news) — State regulators have cleared Waymo to offer paid driverless rides in Livermore, Dublin, Pleasanton and San Ramon, potentially adding a new way to reach BART, downtown and regional destinations. The company hasn't said when service will actually start here, and federal safety investigations could shape how and where robotaxis operate, so local riders may be waiting awhile before hailing one.
   

2. Looking back at All-EBAL teams from spring sports season (pleasantonweekly.com) — Livermore High athletes had a big spring in East Bay Athletic League play, earning multiple Player of the Year and Defensive Player of the Year awards across softball and other sports. Numerous Livermore standouts landed on first and second teams, highlighting the school's strong showing against rivals from Dublin, Pleasanton, San Ramon, Danville and beyond as the Tri-Valley heads into fall sports.

Environmental groups sue state in Alameda County court over delayed white sturgeon review (livermorevine.com) — A regional coalition of environmental and fishing groups is suing the California Department of Fish and Wildlife in Alameda County Superior Court, claiming the agency missed a key deadline in reviewing protections for white sturgeon in the Bay-Delta. The story appears on Livermore Vine, alongside other recent Livermore headlines about Fire Station No. 6, LVJUSD's new superintendent, and a vegetation fire near the Altamont.
   

4.
