Rep. Swalwell To Be Featured Speaker At Livermore Chamber Lunch

The Aug. 22 Wine Country Luncheon is hosted by the Livermore Valley Chamber of Commerce.

LIVERMORE, CA — Eric Swalwell, U.S. Representative to the 15th Congressional District, will be the featured speaker at the Aug. 22 Wine Country Luncheon hosted by the Livermore Valley Chamber of Commerce, it was announced Monday.

The event will take place at Livermore's Concannon Vineyard, 4590 Tesla Road, from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.

guests,” said Dawn Argula, Chamber CEO. “He’s been working within the vortex of politics, policy-making, and events at the national level, and we look forward to hearing how these play into the local, regional and statewide economy and how best to prepare for impacts, good and bad, to our businesses and community.”

A fourth-term representative, Swalwell made national headlines in April when he announced his candidacy for President in the 2020 election. However, in July he dropped out of the race.

The LVCC monthly luncheon, held at venues throughout the Livermore Valley wine region, wraps up on September 26 with the annual #LivValBiz Awards at Wente Vineyards. The event will feature former Assembly Member Catharine Baker as keynote speaker.
