Southern California Edison has already cut power near Tajiguas and warns over 22,000 more customers could be affected. 4. 100 Years of The Santa Barbara Botanic Garden (independent.com) — Montecito diners can join the Santa Barbara Botanic Garden's centennial celebration by trying Monte's special Hazy Daze cocktail, made with lavender sourced directly from the garden and benefiting its programs. Throughout October, 11 area bars and restaurants will pour garden-inspired drinks, while the garden itself offers free themed Sundays, discounted new memberships, and family- and dog-friendly activities.
