Road Closure Info For This Weekend's Festival of Arts on University Avenue

The incredibly popular Palo Alto festival runs from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. each day.

Announcement from the Palo Alto Police Department:

There will be several road closures in downtown Palo Alto this weekend for the Palo Alto Festival of the Arts.

Traffic will be significantly impacted, so we encourage you to leave a little extra time if you need to come downtown.

Starting at 2 a.m. on Saturday, August 23, University Avenue between High Street and Webster Street will be closed. All north-south cross streets between High Street and Webster Street will also be closed between Lytton Avenue and Hamilton Avenue.

All roads will be re-opened at about 11 p.m. on Sunday, August 24.

Overnight on Saturday, August 23, north-south traffic will be allowed to cross University Avenue at Cowper Street and Emerson Street.
More than 150,000 people are expected to attend the festival during the weekend, which runs from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. each day.
