Fire Breaks Out At Murrieta Starbucks, Store Temporarily Closed

The fire broke out in the early morning hours of Thursday.

MURRIETA, CA – A fire at a local Starbucks location broke out early Thursday morning, prompting a temporary closure of the coffee house. The Starbucks is located at 39589 Los Alamos Rd, near Interstate 215 and Whitewood Road.

Reports from the scene indicate that the fire broke out around 2:30 a.m. As of 11 a.m., the store remained closed, and officials estimated it would be open within a few hours, after some repairs are made.

"We are incredibly relieved nobody was injured in this incident," a Starbucks spokeswoman told Patch via email.

"The store is currently closed, and we are working to be back and running as soon as possible," the spokeswoman said. "We appreciate our customers’ flexibility and understanding as we work quickly to repair any damage to the space. In the meantime we are continuing to serve the Murrieta community at our other nearby locations."
